To set the Prefix, Starting Number, and Number of Digits for a record in a table, the appropriate choice is Auto-number. This feature is specifically designed to automatically generate unique identifiers for records in a consistent manner based on specified parameters.

By using the Auto-number feature, developers can customize how the system generates numbers for new records. The Prefix allows for a specific string to be added in front of the number, which can aid in categorizing records. The Starting Number defines from what point the numbering should begin. The Number of Digits sets the format for how the numbers will appear, ensuring that they maintain a consistent width, which is useful for sorting and readability.

In contrast, options like Live feed do not pertain to numbering records and instead involve real-time data updates. Record settings could imply database configurations but do not specifically provide options for customizing number generation. Field properties are focused on individual field attributes rather than the auto-numbering scheme for generating unique identifiers across records.
